“…knowing that my daughter is being taken care of on many levels. It’s a bit like having another branch of parenting happening when I drop her off and she walks through those doors.
We made the switch to Waldorf in the middle school years. It is from this perspective that I could see her get…younger. It was instant, and unexpected! After her first two weeks of Waldorf education, my sixth grader was lighter, sillier, happier. Dance and lively reciting of poetry and songs filled our home. Off went the TV. Out came the games, and stories. No longer did I have to dig for information about her school day, it was excitedly shared with me. The color of her face changed, she stopped getting sick and missing school. What a relief.
A year and a half later, I ask her what makes this education different than her public school experience. She said to me, ‘I feel smart at Waldorf.’
Best parenting decision I ever made.” –CLWS Parent

“…an opportunity for children to be free. It is the chance for them to find their gifts and learn to share them with others, instead of having ideas, patterns and processes forced upon them. This allows the will to grow strong and confident, instead of it being squashed or compromised behind a lack of self-worth and belonging. In this way, individuals come to light and become powerful humans.” –CLWS Parent
“…a place where I feel like I can not only learn information, but keep that information with me forever. A place where my classmates aren’t just friends, they’re family.” –CLWS Student
