“…This is the solstice, the still point
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,
the year’s threshold
and unlocking, where the past
lets go and becomes the future.” —Margaret Atwood
Dear City of Lakes Waldorf School Community,
Seasons greetings from City of Lakes Waldorf School! We are thinking of you, our extended CLWS community, as we approach the New Year. At this turning point of the Winter Solstice, we reflect deeply on all of the gifts of Waldorf education, and our remarkable school community over the past 34 years. Our students, past and present, are thriving in the world. The many connections and friendships formed between both students and parents at CLWS extend far beyond the walls of our school home. We are grateful to everyone who has played a part in making CLWS what it is today, and truly treasure our memories of you and your children.
