January 2009 – CLWS awarded grant from MWMO to fund rain garden-planning and design process continues

April 2009-Spring Fundraising Event (Springtide Soiree) parents and friends contributed to garden’s construction

June 2009-groundbreaking celebration at CLWS, planning and design process continues

August 2009-final plans received from engineering firm

October 2009-demolition of the parking lot begins

November 2009-raingarden plants installed and project is “completed”

March 2010-education outreach begins

April-May 2010-snow melts! Plants visibly growing

May-June2010-education outreach continues
