Transferring schools: Mid-year vs. September?
Each year children transfer to City of Lakes Waldorf School year-around, including in May. May you say? At times a year-end transfer can ease a child’s transition to a new school. Contact Caroline Askew for more information.

City of Lakes Waldorf School offers after-school sports for grades 6-8 through LIST, the League of Independent Sports Teams. Sports offered include fall soccer, winter basketball and spring volleyball.
The CLWS after-school sports program strives to support and enhance the love of play that exists in children by giving them the opportunity to participate in and understand sports that are popular in our culture. After-school sports are intended to foster a sense of belonging and a stronger bond within the class, and create a path for lifelong active people. LIST emphasizes participation over winning, including relatively equal playing time for all. CLWS encourages all students to participate in after-school sports, regardless of skill level, athletic ability or experience.
