Thank you for your interest in City of Lakes Waldorf School! We are still accepting applications on a rolling basis for some of the grades for the 2011-2012 school year, space permitting. Tuition assistance applications are also accepted on a rolling basis for new applicants to the school. Please call to inquire about space availability by class year. Now in its 23rd year, our school is one of over 900 Waldorf schools in more than 60 countries worldwide dedicated to helping children develop their full human potential in body, spirit and mind. The best way to understand Waldorf education is to see it in action! We encourage you to schedule a tour of our classrooms during the school day.
Our school is experiencing healthy growth in enrollment as more families discover Waldorf education. Several of our class levels are at capacity with waiting lists. Last year we expanded our school home by fully occupying our spacious building. Our school serves children from ages 3 through Grade 8. We also offer parent/child classes for toddlers, ongoing parent education and opportunities for participation in your child’s school journey.
Waldorf teachers and parents seek to foster the natural unfolding of childhood, creating a genuine enthusiasm for learning that is essential to educational success. Waldorf students gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the cultural, scientific and social life of humanity that prepares them to be good problem-solvers, independent thinkers and engaged citizens.
