Dear Parents and Friends,
As you know, the history of City of Lakes Waldorf School is rich with stories of four amazing women and families who toiled endlessly to realize the birth of our urban Waldorf school. Following their incredible dedication to nurture a fledgling school and realize its maturation into adulthood, we are now 21 years older and uniquely poised for a new era of growth and renewal. We honor those who’ve come before us whose efforts continue to ground us in our work. And we welcome new families and friends into our circle so that we may create a new CLWS community while living out the vision of our founders. In this work, we continue to rely on the generosity of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school to share their time, talents, and financial gifts.
The work of the Development Office is to assist in building a healthy social and financial life for the school by strengthening relationships within the school and the external community. Creating a strong community of CLWS families, alumni, and friends allows us to make a quality Waldorf education accessible to every family who seeks it.
There are many ways to support our school. Contribute to the Annual Fund, shop at our School Store, buy a school t-shirt, attend CLWS events, promote our high-quality education to friends and family…the list goes on! Your help will support our continued growth well into the future so that other children may benefit from our unique educational approach.
